This summer has been one of a kind for me. I have never packed so much into such a short amount of time in my life. I have been on more adventures, seen more sights, met more people, had more adventures, and accomplished more life goals this summer than in any summer previous. we’re going to chernobyl

So being over here in Ukraine has been great, and despite all the jokes and ignorant comments about Chernobyl made to me in my visits to Ukraine, I haven’t ever really seen the effects of Chernobyl in my travels. I mean you hear stories about it from people who were here, stories like the black cloud over Kyiv, a city 4 million strong forced to flee to the far reaches of the country, or of babies being deformed, firefighters and police men dying at the ripe old age of mid twenties due to their being called to duty. Those kinds of stories, but the places I’ve lived haven’t shown any effects of the largest nuclear disaster in the history of the world, so accordingly it has been a stretch at best, for me to try and understand the meaning of the word Chernobyl, (continue reading…)
Ykraina!!

Well I’m here, in Ukraine I mean and life is amazing. It is so good being back and I’m having a blast. I’m getting more Ukrainian food than ever, able to see more cultural events and be a little more rowdy than was acceptable as a missionary so it makes for a different kind of enjoyment. Specifically when I attend sporting events I’m a whole different ball game baby, :) Anyway, hopefully I can get a real post and pics soon.
