The new favorite hooptie

So just real quick, as I’ve been trolling through images doing some redesign stuff for businesses, I’ve been loving a cool new addon I found a week or two ago called Cool Iris. You can take any image you see while your surfing the web, hover over it, click in the bottom corner and it pulls it into a gallery view and then scrapes the links from the page and tries to load all the other images in the group. Great for google images or facebook albums. Love it.

Enjoy

  1. Ooooh! LOVE IT! That’s the only reason I wanted an iphone, to scroll through images like that ;) Thanks for the link. But, how will I ever get to folding the laundry now!?

Interesting words on Cool Iris. I once downloaded it, but felt it was more of a cute novelty than anything useful. I’m glad you drew this to my attention, though, as it appears the functionality of Cool Iris has been expanded, thus making its use worthwhile. Perhaps I’ll bust out the plugin for Firefox once more.

  3. Doan,
This is a glorious day for me. For the first time in my life I knew about something computer related before you did :) I’ve been using cool iris for a few months and it’s definitely awesome. Hope all is well my friend. The blog looks great, ay!
