update roman numeral I

so I’m sitting this morning in Lexington, KY loving life. My good friend Tyler Hamilton just got married yesterday, and we had his reception last night and it was pretty amazing. He was out on his acerage he gets after he gets married, and they had lots of white tents and white bags with candles, catered by qdoba and it was fantastic. Just some good ole boys and we had fun. But also… I’m three weeks into the last EFY summer of my life and I’m kind of bummed out that when my kids ask “you’ll be here next year right?” I gotta tell them that it’s just not gonna happen. It’s for the best though, I’m excited to just be moving on in life cause it’s time. I’ve done this three years now and think it’s about time to let someone else take the throne. I’ll be in the east coast for the rest of the summer though, until my last two weeks which will be glorious regardless of where I’m at. I met a pretty sweet girl this summer that I get to see at some point during that time, which makes me happy. So I’m happy on all fronts, life is just exciting, and the fact that I’m driving 9 hours today, that is also amazing. Oh, but on a filthy note, my ipod got stolen out of my luggage while I was eating breakfast yesterday, it’s just frustrating to get stuff you’ve learned to depend on removed from your life. I liked to listen to the ipod using little earphones and I would listen to musac’s and books and shtuff, and now I’m back to singing and reading on the paper. Sad story….

But life goes on, and joyously so might I add.

Enjoy

Man, that totally stinks about your ipod! I hate mean people that steal! Whew, that was kinda harsh, I know..but seriously…Maybe whoever stole it needed it more than you. It is so hard to feel “Christ like” in those situations! I have a shuffle you can have if you need it! Be good, have fun and keep us updated on that “pretty Sweet” Girl!! Love you, Sarah

  2. That really stinks about your ipod. I still have yet to ever own one, so now we can all be ipod-less together. Jake is really wishing you were here. So how abouts you make time fly.

Hi Al, wherever you are! Sorry about your ipod – but it sounds like you may have a song in your step with this lucky lady!!
